Uninstalling Design Intuition®
Uninstalling
You may want to remove Design Intuition for one of several reasons.
- Re-install Design Intuition. Something has gotten corrupted, causing Design Intuition to misbehave.
- Sell or give your Design Intuition license to someone.
- Move Design Intuition to another machine.
- Get rid of Design Intuition, completely.
On Windows
Windows provides a control panel for program removal. To re-install, however, simply re-run the installer. If you don't have the installer, you can download it again.
On a Macintosh
The Macintosh version of Design Intuition knows how to uninstall itself.
Open the General preferences window
In the Design Intuition menu, select the Preferences item.
Enable the Deactivate, Uninstall and Quit function
Near the top of the General preferences window, click on the checkbox labeled Enable.
Click on the Deactivate, Uninstall and Quit button
This will remove the Library, the Template files, and all Preferences. It will also free up your License Registration for this machine. Design Intuition will then quit. All files that were installed by Design Intuition have been removed.
Afterwards, Design Intuition is still on my hard drive! Why?
Getting rid of it is easy: Simply drag it to the trash. Replacing it, though, involves going to the Download page on our website.
