Library Inspector

Add Smart Objects to your document

Add Smart Objects to your document by dragging them from the Smart Objects Inspector into your document.

The first time you run Design Intuition, it installs a Library of Smart Objects that are available for you to use. New versions of Design Intuition will automatically add new objects to the library. don't worry: this automatic installation process will never destroy an existing object.

If you like, you can, of course, alter any of these Smart Objects. To do so, double click on one to open it. Edit it to suit and either save it back in place or use the Save In Library to save it as a separate Smart Object.

You can add Smart Objects of your own to the Library, building a supply of ready-made objects of your own design that you can drag into new documents to save time and effort.

If you use the Finder to add a Smart Object to this library, you will need to tell Design Intuition to synchronize the inspector with what is on disk. To do so, simply click on the Refresh List From Disk button.
